BioI'm a 24 year old student living in Melbourne, Australia. I have an Arts degree in Philosophy and Indonesian, and am persuing an Honours year studying the latter, though actally all my research material is Malaysian. I live with a good friend and our respective cats. I don't consider any of that information to define me, necessarily, but I wanted to put something here so there it is. I'm gay, introverted, serious, nutty, shy and a slew of other traits that my friends and lover likely know better than I do myself.
I'm confused and confounded by the world, but don't feel threatened by it. I have faith that in the end, everything will be alright, and that at the end of the line, where ever that it, I will find peace. Much of my life is ruled by my fear of showing myself to the world, because I have a sense of who that is. My mantra is 'I am what I am' and it gives me strength when uncertainty finds a foothold in my soul.
I want to be an interpreter, and work in Malaysia translating Jawi texts regarding traditional shamanism, living off grants, falling in love and touring the world. I want to make a difference, and I believe that I can. I see goodness in most things, and don't believe in gossip. Respect before judgement tempers an unfit mind.
